A Zen monk was walking in a forest for days and days.
Tired, he eventually got to this riverside.
On the other side of the river he saw one of his masters.
It was a big river and so he was overjoyed and excited to see his master to help show him the way.
So he looks across the river and yells:
“Hey, master, master! I’ve been walking for days and days. Please tell me, how do I get to the other side? How do I reach the other side?”
The master looks at him, cocks his head to the side, and smiles.
“You’re already on the other side. You’re already on the other side.”
The journey to “the other side” often begins with realizing you are already where you need to be.
Pause and reflect—what if everything you’ve been searching for is already within your reach?
